Too often, when we communicate change, we jump straight to the what. The practical details, the instructions, the “here’s what’s happening”.
But we skip the HUMAN part. Where we’re meant to actually help people understand why the change matters, the vision for the future, and (you could argue, most importantly) what’s in it for them.
Let’s make comms work better for people
In internal comms, what we do plays a big part of the employee experience. And we need to protect people's sanity and give them their headspace back. That means reducing unnecessary notifications. Clarifying where the important info lives. And making sure messages are worth the time they take to read.
